Job description
Sandblast OperatorThis position is responsible for operating the sandblast equipment, material handling of large components, paint prep of machine components, and loading/unloading components from the conveyor line. Responsibilities include:Operating sandblast equipmentHandling materials of large componentsPrepping for paint (wipe down, surface prep, mask) of machine componentsLoading and unloading components from conveyor lineMaintaining area cleanlinessAdditional items as assigned by area supervisorThis position interacts with other manufacturing personnel, project manager and area supervisor.Competency or position requirements:Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughlyAbility to pay attention to the minute details of a project or taskMust be dependable and trustworthyAbility to work sandblasting equipment safelyAll Armor employees are also expected to demonstrate Armor's core values of being:Customer FocusedPassionate about WorkSolution OrientedDriven by IntegrityEducation and/or experience:High School graduate or GEDEquipment used: This position will be using sandblast equipment, fork truck, proper PPE related to blast booth operation, and a computer.Working and physical conditions: This position will be on the manufacturing floor and will be standing for extended periods of time.
