Sanitation WorkerOur client, a food production environment, is seeking a Sanitation worker to join their team. As a Sanitation worker, you will be part of the Production Operations department supporting production lines and workstations. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, the ability to work with urgency in a fast-paced setting, and the focus to follow food safety and good manufacturing practices (GMP) every day.Job Title: SanitationLocation: Plover, WIPay Range: $19.60Shift: 1st Shift hours Mon-FriWhat's the Job?Review production areas for edible and inedible materials from production lines and remove inedible waste to maintain a clean, safe environment for production workers.Set up and maintain line readiness by placing floor trays, garbage/cardboard totes, mats, and waste barrels before production begins.Clean and sanitize assigned areas, including floors, underneath and surrounding line areas, packaging areas, and equipment-adjacent zones—keeping debris out of the way so machines can run freely.Handle waste sorting correctly by separating edible waste into designated red barrels and disposing of inedible waste into gray garbage receptacles, following established procedures.Complete daily waste reports on paper and electronically, and perform additional sanitation tasks as needed by the supervisor.What's Needed?Ability to understand and communicate effectively, and follow written and verbal instructions.Basic math skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.Ability to work safely in a production environment, including standing regularly, using hands/fingers/arms to handle and reach, and climbing or balancing as required.Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds regularly, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally push or pull up to 200 pounds or less using barrels on wheels.Willingness to wear required PPE, follow plant food safety and personal safety rules, and work extended hours based on production needs (including after regular hours and weekends).What's in it for me?Opportunity to contribute directly to a clean, safe, and compliant production environment.Hands-on work that keeps you active and engaged across multiple production lines and workstations.Clear expectations and structured sanitation procedures to support consistent performance.Team-based environment where enthusiasm and a sense of urgency matter.Training and rotation across production areas to build experience and versatility.Upon completion of waiting period associates are eligible for:Medical and Prescription Drug PlansDental PlanSupplemental Life InsuranceShort Term Disability Insurance401(k)
