This is not simply our job, it's our passion.Job Summary: The Sanitation Engineer is responsible for ensuring trash is transported, processed, and disposed properly to the compactor, while ensuring compliance with cleanliness standards in all areas pertaining to garbage management.Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesKeep all designated garbage collection areas clean and cleared dailyTransport all garbage to defined collection areas or process with the trash compactor accordinglyWork in close coordination with the Stewarding team to ensure fulfillment of property needsExecutive daily tasks provided by Stewarding leadership, involving overall property back-of-house supportCommunicate potential dumpster-cycling with the Facilities teamSafely operate a company'side-by-side' vehicle, transporting garbage throughout the resort, following all provided SOPs, guidelines, and maintenance directivesPerform additional duties as assigned by the Chief Steward, or other members of ManagementSkills, Experience, & Educational RequirementsPrior experience in sanitiation services, garbage collection, or janitorial work preferred but not requiredKnowledge of basic sanitation best practicesStrong committment to safety standardsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced, physically demanding environmentAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysBenefitsMedical insurance - 80% of premium paid by employerHealth Savings Account with $50 employer contribution per pay periodDental, vision & life insurance - 100% of premium paid by employer5 weeks of PTO (Paid Time Off)8 paid holidaysUniform provided & complimentary launderingComplimentary transportation to/from resortComplimentary meal per shiftDiscounts at F&B outlets on property14 nights per year at $100/night* at Kerzner Properties worldwideWinter season includes complimentary ski pass to Big Sky Resort based on availability OR $225 reimbursement towards gym membershipPhysical RequirementsThe ideal candidate must be able to perform all physical requirements of the job in a safe manner, with or without reasonable accommodation.
