Now Hiring: Sanitation Technician – Industrial BakeryShift: 1st, 2nd and 3rd$21.00–$22.00 DOELocation: Torrance, CAAre you an experienced Sanitation Technician who takes pride in keeping food production environments spotless, safe, and compliant? This is a hands-on role for professionals who have experience cleaning industrial bakery machinery and thrive in a fast-paced food manufacturing setting.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesAs a vital member of our Sanitation team, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and audit-ready food manufacturing facility:Perform Sanitation of industrial bakery machinery, production equipment, and facility areasFollow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and all Sanitation and food safety standards at all timesClean, sanitize, and maintain processing equipment, floors, drains, walls, and work areasSafely handle and use cleaning chemicals according to proceduresPush, pull, and move equipment on rollers; mop, sweep, and squeegee floorsClean, store, and maintain all Sanitation tools, equipment, and PPE after each shiftReport damaged, missing, or malfunctioning equipment promptlySafely use ladders and scissor liftsWork comfortably in wet, dusty, warm environmentsLift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including kneeling, squatting, bending, reaching overhead, and climbingWork flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as neededPerform additional duties as assigned by managementMinimum QualificationsRequired: Experience cleaning industrial bakery machinery or food manufacturing equipmentAbility to understand and follow verbal and written instructionsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong work ethic and attention to detailWillingness to learn new Sanitation methods and proceduresPhysical Demands & Work EnvironmentFood manufacturing environment with flour dustExposure to hot and wet conditionsFrequent lifting, pushing, and pullingRegular climbing, kneeling, squatting, and reaching overheadUse of ladders, scissor lifts, and floor scrubbersAbility to lift up to 50 lbsBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceExperience:GMP: 2 years (Required)Sanitation: 2 years (Required)Heavy lifting: 1 year (Required)Cleaning with chemicals: 2 years (Required)Disassembling production equipment: 2 years (Required)Language: Spanish (Preferred)
