Job description
Plant Custodial And Grounds MaintenancePerforms general plant custodial duties and grounds maintenance. Packs to cover lunch breaks and other relief of packers as required.ResponsibilitiesPerform general clean up tasks as listed on the daily clean up sheets for each shift. Record completed tasks and document other issues as necessaryFollow proper handling procedures for cleaning and other chemicals required for the positionOperate cleaning equipment including floor scrubbers, steamers, and industrial vacuumsRefill syrup dispensers and change pansClean snow from entrances and sidewalks as necessaryFollow proper procedures for cleaning of biohazard spills/accidentsPerform related duties as required by supervisorEssential FunctionsMust be able to communicate verbally and in writing effectivelyAble to legibly and accurately record informationGood understanding of and strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Policies (GMP)Must be able to safely lift up to 75 pounds, bend, stoop, climb, reach and regularly use stairsJob involves bending, turning, twisting, use of hands and rotation of wristsAbility to stand on feet 12 hours per dayIdentify areas that need attention and either address or report as necessary.Adherence to the company attendance policy is required, including expectations of punctuality and limited unapproved absences.QualificationsMust be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervisionMust be signed off to pack a minimum number of cake cone packsMust have demonstrated a good work record and attendancePay RangeStarting from USD $22.85/Hr.
