Kerry is currently seeking a Sanitation Technician to join our 2nd shift team (200 PM - 1000 PM) at our Vesper, WI facility! Our Vesper location is part of Kerry's Applied Health & Nutrition division and is a unique manufacturing site that produces proteins, lactose, coatings, and flavors used in products enjoyed by consumers around the world. As a Sanitation Technician, you'll play a critical role in maintaining a clean, safe, and food-safe production environment, helping ensure the quality and integrity of the products we manufacture every day.Key ResponsibilitiesEmployee will be responsible for daily/ weekly sanitation tasks while also contributing to the general overall condition of the plant.Ability to operate the floor scrubber and maintain its cleanliness (daily maintenance checklist)Ability to operate the powered man-lift. (Rafter cleaning)Completion of daily /weekly cleaning list.Upkeep of Master Sanitation list (MSS)(MVP)Demonstrates a positive attitude and relates in a positive manner when interacting with all personnel.Work independently with minimal supervisionUnderstand and comply with all HACCP, allergen, environmental, regulatory and customer demands and requirements.Have a good understanding of the general purpose, philosophy, and direction of Kerry as a whole and, specifically, the Jackson plant as it relates to employee policies and expectations, quality, customer satisfaction, GMPs, sanitation, and production requirements.Maintain awareness of customer and regulatory demands and focus.Responsible to adhere to quality system requirements.Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications and SkillsAbility to work independently with little to no supervision.Problem solving ability and aptitude for learning and professional growth.High School DiplomaMust be able to lift 50 – 100 lbs.Must be able to work all three shifts.Have some knowledge of the use of tools and be mechanically inclined.Must complete daily and weekly cleaning schedules.Complete and maintain the MSS (Master Sanitation Schedule).Understand the use of chemicals.Must be able to operate a floor scrubber.Must be able to operate a scissors lift and a boom lift.Must regard communications, teamwork, quality and safety as a high priority.Must be able to understand / follow written and verbal communication andPerform any reasonable request from supervisors.Kerry is an equal opportunity employer.
