With a rich heritage spanning seven distinctive brands, we bring unmatched expertise and tailored solutions to our Retail and Foodservice partners.3rd Shift (Evening and Night hours)Job SummaryThe Sanitation Technician is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, machinery, and designated facility areas to ensure compliance with company sanitation standards. This role supports food safety initiatives by following sanitation procedures, chemical handling guidelines, and maintaining a clean and safe production environment.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Wash utensils and machinery using hot or cold water as requiredOperate machinery and sanitation equipment as neededFollow proper chemical dilution and concentration proceduresFollow all PPE requirements and safety proceduresMaintain knowledge of washing procedures by sanitation zonesFollow color coding procedures for sanitation tools and equipmentPerform quality control checks in assigned areasWork safely around food allergens including wheat, dairy, eggs, and tree nutsSupport cleaning, maintaining, and emptying equipment used throughout the sanitation processPerform additional duties as assignedQualifications & ExperiencePrevious sanitation and/or dishwashing experience preferredKnowledge of chemical concentrations and sanitation procedures preferredAbility to work safely in a food manufacturing environment with allergensStrong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safetyAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and follow procedures consistentlyAbout Dessert Holdings:Dessert Holdings is a collection of premium dessert companies and brands: The Original Cakerie, Lawler's Desserts, Atlanta Cheesecake Company, Steven Charles, Dianne's Fine Desserts, Kenny's Great Pies, and Willamette Valley Pie Company.
