Warehouse AssociatePenske Logistics is looking for warehouse associates to become part of an excellent team. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are safety conscious and have a pleasant, outgoing attitude who want to excel in a warehouse environment.Why is Penske Logistics for you?We take pride in offering a competitive wage and great benefits including:Pay: $17.50/Hour Base Rate plus $.50 shift differentialWork Schedule:• Sunday to Wednesday 3pm until finishedAdditional Benefits:• Paid Time Off• Medical Insurance• Dental Insurance• Vision Insurance• Life Insurance• 401K• Associate Referral Program$125 Boot allowance after 90-days of employmentCold Storage facility: 28° F to 55° FOur associates also enjoy numerous associate discounts and opportunities to grow with the organization!Job Responsibilities:• Proficient in mopping, sweeping, scrubbing, and vacuuming surfaces• Empties trash bins and cleans trash area daily; operates trash compactor when applicable• Pulls pallets and clean/scrubs product bays on a rotating basis• Clean up any spills or breakages to the inventoried product; recoup damages and determine if resalable or must be disposed of per food safety standards and requirements• Clean other areas of the warehouse and offices, including break rooms, restrooms, offices, etc.• Complete daily sanitation logs• Utilize chemicals, detergents, and cleaning equipment• Operate scrubber and pallet jacks if required to perform duties• Able to identify and address cleanliness and sanitation issues• Complies with all safety requirements• Escalate issues timely and directly to supervisor• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system• Operate forklifts or pallet jacks to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipment• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisorQualifications:• No prior warehouse experience required but preferred.• High school diploma or equivalent preferred• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required• Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required• Flexible to work overtime preferred• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the jobPhysical Requirements:-The physical and mental demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
