Experience & Qualification Requirements
Minimum 10+ years of experience working with SAP enterprise solutions, with deep expertise in SAP FICO.
Minimum 5+ years of experience supporting SAP Private Cloud environments and large-scale enterprise SAP landscapes.
Proven experience leading SAP implementation, transformation, cloud migration, or modernization initiatives within complex enterprise environments.
Experience collaborating with business stakeholders, enterprise architects, infrastructure teams, SAP partners, system integrators, and delivery organizations.
Strong understanding of SAP architecture, SAP Private Cloud operations, enterprise integrations, environment strategy, and governance practices.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
SAP certifications and advanced SAP technical or functional credentials are highly preferred.
Functional Skills Requirements
Serve as the primary SAP FICO Subject Matter Expert for SAP Private Cloud and related SAP solutions.
Partner with business and IT stakeholders to understand business objectives, operational requirements, current-state processes, and technical constraints.
Provide functional guidance and solution recommendations aligned with SAP best practices and organizational goals.
Design and review SAP solution architectures, configurations, integrations, environment strategies, and implementation approaches.
Advise stakeholders on SAP capabilities, roadmap planning, cloud adoption strategies, and technology recommendations.
Facilitate workshops, requirements gathering sessions, design reviews, and solution discussions with business and technical teams.
Coordinate implementation activities across cross-functional teams, external vendors, SAP partners, and system integrators.
Support production issue resolution, root cause analysis, continuous improvement initiatives, and performance optimization activities.
Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, security requirements, governance processes, and compliance expectations.
Create and maintain solution documentation, process flows, configuration standards, decision records, and governance artifacts.
Business & Leadership Requirements
Lead cross-functional discussions to align business requirements with SAP solution capabilities and enterprise technology strategies.
Build trusted relationships with senior business leaders, IT stakeholders, implementation partners, SAP representatives, and external vendors.
Identify technical risks, dependencies, process gaps, and implementation considerations throughout the project lifecycle.
Support enterprise digital transformation and SAP modernization initiatives through functional leadership and solution governance.
Drive structured problem-solving, stakeholder alignment, and decision-making across complex SAP programs and enterprise initiatives.
Provide mentorship and guidance to project teams while promoting SAP best practices and operational excellence.
Technical Expertise Requirements
Strong expertise in SAP FICO with extensive knowledge of Finance, Controlling, and enterprise business processes.
Deep understanding of SAP Private Cloud architecture, landscape management, release management, and environment strategy.
Experience designing and supporting SAP integrations across enterprise applications, data platforms, middleware, and third-party systems.
Ability to evaluate multiple solution options and provide recommendations based on scalability, maintainability, business value, cost, and risk.
Strong knowledge of SAP deployment models, change management practices, testing methodologies, and system governance processes.
Experience supporting enterprise-scale SAP implementations spanning multiple business functions and geographic regions.
Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, SAP integration technologies, and cloud transformation programs preferred.
Strong analytical, documentation, communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation capabilities.
Preferred Experience
Experience supporting automotive OEMs, mobility organizations, manufacturing companies, or Tier 1 suppliers.
Experience working within Fortune 500 or other large enterprise organizations with complex SAP landscapes.
Experience participating in enterprise architecture, digital transformation, cloud migration, or ERP modernization initiatives.
Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies, SAP Activate, and large-scale program governance frameworks.
Experience collaborating with global teams, external vendors, implementation partners, and system integrators.
Familiarity with Tax, Customs, Accounts Payable, Procurement, and Materials Management processes.
Experience operating within formal governance, architecture review, and change control structures.
Work Arrangement Requirements
Hybrid work model with Charlotte, NC as the preferred work location.
Open to candidates located within reasonable commuting distance to support onsite collaboration as needed.
Ability and willingness to travel approximately 10% to 25% within the United States, with occasional international travel.
Ability to effectively collaborate with distributed global teams, business stakeholders, and implementation partners.
Work Authorization
Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
Compensation (All-In)
$140,000 - $160,000 USD Total Compensation.
Includes base salary and performance-based incentive opportunities.
Placement within the range depends on experience, SAP expertise, enterprise leadership capabilities, certifications, and overall qualifications.
