Job description
A global pharmaceutical packaging company is seeking an experienced SAP Financial Accounting Consultant to support its accounting operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional with strong general ledger experience and hands-on SAPknowledge.
Responsibilities
Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate general ledger accounts.
Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
Assist with financial reporting, account analysis, and supporting schedules.
Review financial transactions for accuracy and compliance with accounting policies.
Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and account schedules.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and improve processes.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
5+ years of progressive accounting experience; Senior Accountant experience preferred.
Hands-on SAP S/4HANA experience required.
Strong general ledger, journal entry, and account reconciliation experience.
Experience with month-end close and financial reporting.
Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced corporate environment.
