We are looking for a highly experienced SAP MDG Consultant with 15+ years of overall experience and strong expertise in Master Data Governance, data migration, data assessment, profiling, cleansing, transformation, and reconciliation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with SAP MDG processes, SAP BODS, LSMW/LTMC, data loading programs, and technical troubleshooting.

We are looking for a highly experienced SAP MDG Consultant with 15+ years of overall experience and strong expertise in Master Data Governance, data migration, data assessment, profiling, cleansing, transformation, and reconciliation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with SAP MDG processes, SAP BODS, LSMW/LTMC, data loading programs, and technical troubleshooting. The candidate will be responsible for supporting data migration and cutover activities, resolving data defects, developing/fixing load programs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and successful data migration.
Key Responsibilities
Provide expert-level support and guidance on SAP MDG (Master Data Governance) processes and solutions.
Perform data assessment and profiling to identify data quality issues and improvement opportunities.
Understand and execute data mapping and transformation processes based on business requirements.
Identify opportunities for data cleansing, enrichment, standardization, and quality improvement.
Assist with data loading processes using tools such as LSMW, LTMC, and other relevant SAP data migration tools.
Troubleshoot data loading and migration issues and provide technical resolutions.
Work with SAP BODS (BusinessObjects Data Services) and understand data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
Analyze and resolve data defects throughout the migration and data governance lifecycle.
Execute cutover plans and support data reconciliation activities during migration.
Develop, modify, and fix data load programs as required.
Coordinate with functional, technical, data, and business teams to resolve data-related issues.
Support end-to-end data migration activities from assessment and mapping through loading, validation, reconciliation, and cutover.
Ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and compliance with defined business standards.
Prepare and maintain required technical and data migration documentation.
Provide technical support during critical migration and cutover activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
15+ years of overall IT experience with strong expertise in SAP Master Data Management / SAP MDG.
Strong hands-on experience in SAP MDG and master data processes.
Excellent understanding of data assessment, profiling, mapping, transformation, cleansing, and enrichment.
Hands-on experience with LSMW, LTMC, and SAP data loading/migration processes.
Working knowledge of SAP BODS and related data migration processes.
Strong understanding of data defect identification, analysis, and resolution.
Experience in data reconciliation and cutover execution.
Ability to develop, modify, and troubleshoot data load programs.
Strong technical troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently as well as coordinate with multiple teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working on large-scale SAP data migration / transformation projects.
Experience supporting complex SAP MDG implementations or rollouts.
Strong understanding of data governance and data quality best practices.
Experience working with cross-functional business and technical teams.Experience in enterprise-level SAP transformation or migration programs.
