Saw Filer OpportunityThe Baillie Group is a cohesive, unified group of hardwood producers working cooperatively together with each retaining their distinctive and valued cultural identities. AHI, a member of The Baillie Group, is looking for an experienced saw filer to join our team of skilled professionals in their North Garden, VA. This is a great opportunity for an individual to join our team as a first shift saw filer. This opening is full time and a permanent opportunity working for us. We believe in continuous improvement for our facilities and our employees.Saw Shop Filer Pay & Benefits:First ShiftFull Time HoursOvertime Hours and PayMinimum - Anticipated Maximum Salary: $20 - $25/hour *Full Plan of Benefits including 401kSaw Shop Filer Responsibilities:Sharpening, repairing and maintaining band sawsMaintaining saw shop equipment and facilitiesAdherence to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and proceduresAbility to work independentlyCapable of working efficiently/safe as well as keeping a high level of precisionSaw Shop Filer Qualifications:Experience as a Machinist consideredSaw shop experience is highly preferred, but may be willing to train the right candidateBand mill alignment and maintenance experience helpful, but not requiredMust be self motivated and organized* The advertised pay range represents what AHI believes and anticipates paying for this position.
