Saw OperatorLocation: Greensburg, PA areaSalary: $20-27/hrJob DutiesOperate and maintain saw equipment to cut various materials, such as metal, wood, or plastic, according to specificationsSet up and adjust saw blades, guides, and stops to ensure accurate cutsMonitor the cutting process to ensure quality and efficiencyInspect finished pieces for defects or imperfectionsMaintain a clean and organized work areaQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDExperience in an industrial operations/manufacturing environmentPrevious experience operating saw equipment preferredAbility to work steady or rotating shiftsAbility to work overtime, including weekendsKnowledge of different types of saws and their usesFamiliarity with safety procedures and protocols for operating sawsAbility to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawingsStrong attention to detail and accuracy in measurementsBasic math skills for calculating measurements and anglesAbility to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods of time
