Saw OperatorCompany: Global Power ComponentsLocation: Milwaukee, WI (onsite 5-days/week)Hire Type: Temp-to-Hire (3+ months)Overview: Global Power Components is a privately held, growing manufacturer of UL steel fuel tanks, trailers, large generator enclosures and modular metal enclosures for housing fully equipped electrical distribution and control equipment.Description: We are seeking a dedicated 1st and 2nd Shift automated Band Saw Operator who is dedicated, detail orientated and self-motivated as this position will be working with limited supervision. Global Power Components is willing to train candidates who are willing to work hard, put in extra hours, and want to advance their career.Requirements:Experience operating a band saw cutting metal/steelExperience with overhead crane operation helpfulMust be able to read measuring devices, such as a tape measurerMust be able to read blueprintsMust be highly motivatedPay attention to details and have a strong drive to succeedMust pass competency test* and pre-employment physical including drug screen
