Job description
SCADhome Team MemberAs a SCADhome team member in Atlanta, you will enhance students' university experience by promoting a residential environment that supports their educational, artistic, and personal development. At the university's hub for residence life and housing, you will play a pivotal role with continuing student housing registration, implementing housing policies, and reminding them of important dates.As a concierge specialist, you will:Read, respond, and route incoming emails to the SCADhome help desk; compose and type routine correspondence; organize and maintain a file system for correspondence and other recordsAnalyze qualitative and quantitative data and make deductions from varying facts and circumstances to enhance the SCAD experienceConnect students to any SCAD department or resource; assist with referrals to departments and resources; provide contact information and help students schedule appointmentsAnswer and screen telephone calls; assist with answering student questions about navigating SCADhomeProactively reach out to students about upcoming events and activities; provide reminders for important dates and make suggestions for successStrong candidates will demonstrate:Excellent communication, customer service, and organization skillsDiscipline, honesty and integrityAn ability to handle multiple prioritiesMinimum qualifications:Bachelor's degreeAt least one year of related experienceCustomer service experienceStrong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and Banner, or a similar databaseAble to work occasional evenings and weekendsPreferred qualifications:Successful work experience in an academic environmentTravel required: Less than 10%Work hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
