Job Title: Pharmacist

Experience: Minimum of five years of professional experience with two years of management experience.
License: Current and valid state Pharmacy license required.
Certifications: BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy; PharmD preferred, including one year of residency.
- Client experience (inpatient or outpatient) required.
- Emergency Room experience preferred.
- Recent hospital experience preferred.
Description:
Pharmacists are expected to be a good fit for the team.
They must be able to process prescriptions in a timely manner.
Adherence to policies and regulatory standards is essential.
They must control substances according to policy and law in a timely manner.
Counseling patients in a timely manner is also required.
Current medication knowledge is crucial.
Flexibility to move where needed is expected.
Shift times are variable, including nights, days, swings, and weekends.
This position involves direct management and supervision of daily operations.
The goal is to ensure a high-quality service response consistent with professional standards.
Developing operational and financial outcome measures is necessary.
Creating tracking and monitoring systems to integrate quality improvement efforts is required.
Implementing and evaluating departmental policies and procedures is essential.
Regular assessment of program and service effectiveness must be conducted.
Staff development through feedback and appropriate HR policies must be prioritized.
Planning and evaluating computer-based information and dispensing systems is required.
Managing purchasing and inventory functions is necessary for effective inventory management.
Facilitating professional growth of staff members by assessing learning needs is expected.
Preparing monthly operational reports and identifying areas for improvement is required.
Participation in departmental orientation and quality assurance initiatives is expected.
Engagement in educational programs to maintain current skills and competencies is essential.
Additional duties may be assigned as requested.
A positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, critical thinking, and integrity are essential for success in this role.
