Our Scheduler role introduces you to the systems we use for patient and practice management, as well as the methods we leverage to successfully manage significant patient communication and scheduling. Career development opportunities are earned by facilitating great patient experiences, expanding your skills, and managing details efficiently and accurately.ResponsibilitiesAs a scheduling coordinator, you will accurately schedule medical and cosmetic appointments, manage a multi-line phone system, and communicate with patients in a fast-paced environment.Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Accurately schedule medical and cosmetic appointmentsManage a multi-line phone system and schedule patients in a fast-paced environmentView and manage provider scheduling and communicationsCollect and manage patient information with respect and detail, in accordance with industry regulations (HIPAA, etc.)Consult with patients to schedule and re-schedule appointmentsActively listen to patients, using empathy and concernEscalate patient situations that require unique attentionCall patients to reschedule appointments due to provider schedule changesAssist with scheduling Inbound ReferralsAssist with updating referring provider about patient upcoming appointment and/or appointment statusOther duties assigned as deemed necessary by management.Required Skills/Abilities:Pleasant and clear speaking voicePositive attitude that shines through to our patients on the phoneAttention to detail, specifically professional writing skillsFollows directions and respects policies and proceduresSelf-starter, ability to work independentlyStrong organizational and time management skills with ability to multi-taskProblem solving skillsBi-lingual- Spanish speaking skills is a plusQualificationsEducation and Experience:High School Diploma or GED required.Customer Service or Sales experienceMedical Office experience preferred, but not required.Experience with electronic practice management system preferred
