Scheduling & Operations SpecialistLocation: Manhattan, NYSchedule: Full-Time, 40+ Hours per Week (Fixed Schedule; Includes Weekends)Work Setting: On-Site (Security Operations Center Environment)Compensation: $24 - $27 per hour (Based on Experience)Reports To: Manager, Scheduling & OperationsAbout the RoleThe Scheduling & Operations Specialist serves as a core member of GLOBAL OPS' Security Operations Center (SOC). This role is responsible for real-time workforce coordination, attendance monitoring, escalation handling, and operational continuity across multiple client locations.This position is designed for highly organized, decisive professionals who thrive in fast-paced, real-time environments. The Specialist plays a critical role in stabilizing daily field operations, ensuring coverage reliability, and serving as a central coordination point between field teams and leadership.This is an operational command-support role.Core Responsibilities1. Workforce Scheduling & CoordinationAssign daily and weekly shifts based on availability, qualifications, and operational needsMaintain optimal staffing levels while managing overtime exposureCommunicate schedule updates clearly and promptlyMake real-time adjustments to staffing plans as conditions change2. Real-Time Attendance MonitoringTrack employee attendance and punctualityMonitor shift check-ins and verify coverage statusIdentify no-shows or late arrivals immediatelyCoordinate rapid response coverage for call-outs3. Security Operations Center (SOC) ResponsibilitiesVerify visitor access requests in accordance with site protocolsGrant or deny entry authorization based on established proceduresCoordinate verification of mail and package inspections when requiredIssue real-time operational updates to field teams and managementMaintain accurate logs of access decisions, attendance records, and escalationsMonitor internal systems to ensure continuous operational visibility4. Escalation & Incident CoordinationServe as first point of contact for operational disruptionsEscalate issues to Company Management when appropriateDocument incidents and unusual occurrences accuratelyMaintain calm, professional communication during time-sensitive situations5.
