Pittsburgh Minadeo Elementary School in Pittsburgh, PA
PAY:
$20.00–$22.00 per hour (based on education and experience)
Morning Program: 7:00 AM – 9:30 AM
Opportunities may be available for morning, afternoon, or both programs.

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a
School-Age Childcare Site Director
for our Before and After School Program at
Pittsburgh Minadeo Elementary School
for the 2026–2027 school year.
Employer-Paid Childcare
Healthy Kids Programs provides childcare for school-age children (ages 5–12) enrolled in our program on the days and during the hours you work. Employer contributions cover the cost of care, so you can focus on your job while your child participates in a safe, structured, and engaging program, all without needing to arrange outside care.
Regulatory & Licensing Leadership
Maintain child and staff files, attendance records, and required documentation onsite
Lead engaging activities (STEAM, fitness, academics, arts, homework support)
Actively supervise children and staff, including playground oversight
Maintain safe staff-to-child ratios and strong behavior management
Operations & Communication
Oversee daily attendance, registration, and scheduling
Serve as liaison between families, school administration, and the Healthy Kids main office
Communicate clearly and professionally using the Playground App
Experienced childcare professionals ready to lead
Education majors and future teachers
Retirees with childcare or education experience
Education and Experience:
Bachelors Degree
in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, or the human services field
plus 1 year of experience working with children under 13.
Bachelors Degree
including 30 credit hoursin Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, or the human services field
plus 2 years of experience working with children under 13.
Associates Degree
in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, or the human services field
plus 3 years of experience working with children under 13.
Associates Degree
including 30 credit hoursin Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, or the human services field
plus 4 years of experience working with children under 13.
Must pass a full background check, including fingerprinting and reference checks
