Job description
City Year is seeking an Academic Tutor and Mentor to support student success in partner public schools. In this role, you will provide one-on-one and small-group tutoring in core subjects, reinforce classroom instruction, and track students’ progress. You will build positive relationships, mentor students in social-emotional skills, and help create an engaging, inclusive learning environment. As part of a diverse AmeriCorps team, you will collaborate with teachers, participate in professional development, and grow your leadership skills while making a meaningful impact in students’ lives.
