Job description
As an Academic Tutor and Mentor with City Year, you will serve full-time in a public school, providing small-group and one-on-one academic support in core subjects, tracking student progress, and reinforcing classroom learning. You will build positive, mentoring relationships that foster attendance, engagement, and social-emotional growth. Collaborating closely with teachers and your diverse AmeriCorps team, you’ll help create an inclusive, encouraging classroom climate.
