About the Role
Earn up to $90.85/hour supporting students in a school-based Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) role near Leonardtown, MD. Full-time and part-time options are available for the school year.
VyTalent Solutions is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services within a school setting. The BCBA will work collaboratively with students, families, teachers, special education staff, and related service providers to improve student outcomes through evidence-based behavioral interventions. This role is ideal for professionals with experience supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), developmental disabilities, and behavioral challenges in K-12 educational environments.
Responsibilities
Provide school-based BCBA services and behavioral support to students requiring Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and behavior evaluations to identify student needs.
Develop, implement, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) aligned with student goals and educational programming.
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, school psychologists, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and families.
Participate in IEP meetings , multidisciplinary team meetings, and student support planning.
Analyze behavioral data and make evidence-based recommendations to improve student performance and engagement.
Train and coach teachers, paraprofessionals, and classroom staff on behavioral strategies and intervention techniques.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with BACB ethical guidelines, school district policies, and applicable state regulations.
Support positive learning environments through proactive behavior management and individualized student interventions.
Qualifications
Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field.
Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and evidence-based behavioral interventions.
Experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
Ability to effectively collaborate with school personnel, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
Preferred Experience
Two or more years of experience as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in a school, educational, pediatric, clinic, or community setting preferred.
Experience supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental or behavioral needs.
Experience participating in IEP development, progress monitoring, and special education compliance activities.
