Job description
Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant supporting K-12 learners in a dynamic, welcoming school environment. This full-time contract position offers a fulfilling opportunity to help children achieve their goals and develop essential life skills from now through May 21, 2026.
You'll have guaranteed hours and will focus solely on your therapeutic responsibilities-no extra duties like bus or parent pickup assignments. Direct and indirect services are included, and travel therapists may qualify for stipends during their assignment.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Current certification as an Occupational Therapist Assistant
Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is strongly preferred
Confident delivering therapy services to students in grades K-12
Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
Ability to collaborate positively with educators, families, and other service providers
Flexibility and adaptability to meet diverse student needs
Responsibilities: Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services as outlined in student IEPs
Collaborate with Occupational Therapists and education teams to implement treatment plans
Document student progress in compliance with school and agency policies
Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
Attend required team meetings and communicate regularly with staff and families
