Key Qualifications:
Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
Active licensure in Tennessee or eligibility to obtain prior to start date
Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations is highly valued
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Dedicated to promoting student success and inclusion
Role Responsibilities: Implement individualized occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
Assist students in building essential skills for classroom participation and independence
Document student progress and communicate effectively with educational team members and families
Adapt therapeutic activities to meet diverse needs and goals
Maintain a positive, encouraging environment that fosters student growth
