Job description

Qualifications & Experience:
Valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license required
Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is strongly preferred
Ability to collaborate with occupational therapists, educators, and families
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Capacity to adapt to the diverse needs of middle school students
Key Responsibilities: Implement individualized occupational therapy interventions as directed by the supervising OTR
Support the development of students' fine motor, sensory processing, and adaptive skills crucial for success in the classroom
Track student progress and contribute to documentation and reporting
Participate actively in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
Communicate clearly with educators and parents regarding student goals and progress
Maintain compliance with school district and state regulations
