Job description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for the full school year. In this dynamic role, you'll collaborate with educators and therapists to deliver high-quality occupational therapy services across a diverse caseload that spans multiple grade levels. This position offers 30 hours per week, allowing you to make a meaningful impact while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly desirable
Ability to work effectively with K-12th grade students, adapting interventions appropriately
Proficient in supporting Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and documenting student progress
Strong communication and organizational skills
Team-oriented with a collaborative approach to supporting student success
Key Responsibilities: Provide direct occupational therapy interventions to students as outlined in treatment plans
Collaborate with Occupational Therapists and education staff to implement strategies that support student goals
Assist with evaluations and contribute input for student progress reports
Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and communicate regularly with team members and families
Support the development of fine motor, sensory-processing, and adaptive skills within classrooms and therapy settings

Compensation for this position ranges from $28.67 to $48.67. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here . This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
