Desired Qualifications:
Active COTA certification
Valid state licensure (or eligibility)
Recent experience providing occupational therapy services in a school setting
Knowledgeable in pediatric occupational therapy approaches and IEP processes
Effective communication skills for collaboration with teachers, therapists, and families
Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet individual student needs
Key Responsibilities: Assist with implementing individualized occupational therapy plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
Deliver direct services to students, promoting independence in daily tasks and academic participation
Collaborate with classroom staff and families to support student goals
Maintain accurate records of sessions, progress, and outcomes as required by school policies
Participate in team meetings, contribute to IEP development and review, and help monitor student progress
Adapt and create materials or strategies to facilitate student engagement and success
