Job description
Start making a difference in students' lives with this full-time contract opportunity for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) based near Mishawaka, IN. This position offers an immediate start and extends through the end of May 2027, providing you with the chance to support young learners in a dynamic educational environment. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) licensure in Indiana
Experience working with children or adolescents in educational or pediatric therapy settings
Familiarity with IEPs, therapy documentation, and educational collaboration
Strong communication and organization abilities
Ability to adapt to various school settings and student needs
Primary Responsibilities: Deliver direct therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
Collaborate with occupational therapists, teachers, and families to develop intervention strategies
Document student progress, treatment plans, and session notes in compliance with school and legal requirements
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
Support students in developing fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills essential for academic success
