Job description
Step into a dynamic school environment supporting students across various campuses as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)! This contract opportunity places you at the center of student success, serving as a vital member of multidisciplinary teams. With full-time hours spanning Elementary, Middle, and High Schools, you'll experience the rewarding variety of working with students from Pre-K through transition-aged young adults (up to age 22).

What You Bring:
Valid clinical license from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
Active educator license issued by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE)
Strongly prefer previous school-based COTA experience
Adaptable, team-oriented mindset with an eagerness to support varied student needs
Flexibility to manage variable start/end times based on the schools assigned
Willingness to complete fingerprint background checks and time-sensitive credentialing requirements
Key Responsibilities: Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students across grade levels
Collaborate closely with occupational therapists, teachers, and special education teams
Travel between multiple school sites, supporting a diverse caseload based on district assignment
Maintain thorough documentation and timely paperwork in compliance with state and district standards
Foster positive student outcomes through engaging, evidence-based therapeutic interventions
