Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid COTA certification and state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
Previous experience in school settings is highly valued
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
Organizational skills and adaptability in changing school environments
Dedication to fostering a supportive and inclusive atmosphere for students
Primary Responsibilities: Implement individualized occupational therapy plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
Work with students in group and one-on-one settings, focusing on developing fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills
Track and report student progress, documenting sessions in accordance with school and state guidelines
Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers and parents to identify student needs and strategies
Support the ongoing development of creative, engaging therapy resources for classroom integration
