Job description

Desired Qualifications:
Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in California
Previous experience in a school environment preferred, though recent graduates are welcome to apply
Excellent communication skills with students, families, and faculty
Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
Strong organizational and time management skills
Key Responsibilities: Provide direct occupational therapy services to students based on IEP goals under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
Assist in developing and implementing individualized intervention plans
Conduct group and one-on-one therapy sessions to enhance students' functional skills for classroom success
Monitor student progress and document session notes and reports in compliance with school policies
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the educational planning process
Adjust interventions as needed and provide resources to teaching staff and families
