School-Based Physical Therapist - Dublin, Ohio
Embark on a rewarding assignment supporting students as a Physical Therapist for a contract opportunity spanning multiple schools in the Delaware, OH area, within easy reach of Dublin. You'll enjoy consistent hours 35 per week working with an engaging caseload that allows you to make a meaningful daily impact on students' mobility, independence, and quality of life. This position is set to start as soon as possible and is expected to extend through November.
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid Ohio Physical Therapist license (OH PT) required
Previous experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
Familiarity with IEP (Individualized Education Program) systems
Successful completion of background checks and fingerprinting, per credentialing requirements
Adaptability to work in an itinerant role, traveling between multiple school sites
Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver evidence-based physical therapy to students across various age groups, according to IEP goals and district protocols
Evaluate students motor skills and develop individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with special education teams and attend relevant board meetings
Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP documentation and meetings
Consult with teachers, parents, and other therapists to integrate strategies into daily school routines
Potentially submit for mileage reimbursement for travel between assigned schools
