Registered Nurse Opportunity in K-12 School Setting

Your role will involve working onsite as a per diem nurse, collaborating closely with educators, administrators, and families to ensure student well-being. You'll manage diverse health needs throughout the school day, helping create a safe and supportive atmosphere for learning and growth.
Key Qualifications:
Active RN license in Michigan
Previous experience in school nursing or working with pediatric populations preferred
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Strong clinical judgment and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to K-12 students, including routine health checks, medication administration, and daily care for chronic or acute conditions
Respond to emergencies, administer first aid, and manage communicable disease protocols
Document care and maintain current student health records
Educate students, staff, and families on health topics and preventive care
Participate in individualized education plan (IEP) meetings and collaborate with school teams
