School Nurse Opportunity
Exciting opportunities await for a skilled Registered Nurse eager to support students and staff in a dynamic school environment! In this position, you’ll collaborate with educators and families, providing essential health care and guidance to students throughout the school day. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM, offering a healthy work-life balance while enabling you to truly connect with the school community.
Qualifications
Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license required
Prior experience with pediatric, adolescent, or school-based nursing strongly preferred
Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Adaptable to fast-paced and evolving health needs during the school year
Ability to work effectively both independently and with multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities
Provide direct care, first aid, and emergency response to students and school staff
Administer prescribed medications and collect health data as needed
Assist in developing care plans for students with chronic health conditions
Maintain accurate health records and ensure strict confidentiality
Educate students, staff, and families on health management, disease prevention, and wellness topics
Program support may involve multiple nearby school sites and varying caseloads

Compensation for this position ranges from $28.00 to $45.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
