School Nurse (RN)

Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania
Current CPR and First Aid certification
Experience in schools, pediatrics, or similar settings preferred
Ability to respond quickly and calmly in emergencies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Organized, with strong documentation and follow-up abilities
Key Responsibilities
Deliver direct care to students for injuries, illnesses, and chronic health conditions
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and school policies
Develop and maintain individual care plans for students with health needs
Conduct health screenings and assist with immunization compliance
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student health and learning
Keep accurate health records and prepare reports as needed
Educate students and staff on health topics, hygiene, and preventive care
