Job description
Make a real impact in a school community near Nellis AFB, NV as a contract Registered Nurse. Qualifications and Desired Background:
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Nevada
Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or community health setting preferred
Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
Ability to respond calmly and efficiently in emergencies
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Comfortable working independently and as part of an educational team
Current CPR/BLS certification
Key Responsibilities: Deliver nursing care, first aid, and health screenings to students and staff
Manage and dispense prescribed medications according to school protocols
Develop and implement care plans for students with chronic or acute health needs
Serve as a resource for health education and wellness promotion on campus
Maintain accurate and confidential health records
Work with parents, teachers, and healthcare providers to coordinate care
Participate in crisis response and emergency preparedness
Support adherence to public health guidelines within the school environment
