Job description

Qualifications & Experience:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia (or qualifying for reciprocity)
Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Prior nursing experience in a school, pediatrics, or community health setting highly desirable
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for diverse populations
Ability to respond efficiently to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions
Solid organizational skills to manage health records, treatment plans, and immunization documentation
Flexibility to adapt to various school environments and collaborate with educators, students, and families
Key Responsibilities: Administer first aid, medications, and routine health care to students
Assess and address acute and chronic health concerns, implementing individualized care plans
Contribute to the development of health education programs and preventive health initiatives
Maintain confidential and accurate student health records
Serve as a liaison between students, families, and medical professionals
Advise on health policies in compliance with district and state regulations
