Job description
Make a difference for students by providing essential healthcare services in an educational environment as a Registered Nurse. This contract opportunity based near Salt Lake City, UT is ideal for an RN eager to support students' well-being and collaborate with educators and families. You'll play a key role in fostering a safe and healthy school community through expert care and proactive health management.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current and active Registered Nurse license
Previous experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school setting
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and provide care in a dynamic environment
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
CPR and First Aid certification (up-to-date)
Commitment to student-centered care and advocacy
Key Responsibilities: Administer routine and emergency medical care to students and staff
Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans for students with medical needs
Manage medication administration in accordance with school policies
Maintain accurate health records and documentation
Educate students, families, and school staff on health conditions and wellness practices
Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators on safety protocols and chronic health challenges
