Job description
Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students as a Registered Nurse (RN) in a vibrant school setting near Sheridan, IN. This contract opportunity involves providing one-on-one care and support, ensuring the health and safety of a student throughout their school day. Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Current, active RN license
Experience working with children or within a school setting preferred
CPR/BLS certification required
Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills
Ability to work effectively, independently, and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
Compassionate approach with a focus on student-centered care
Role Responsibilities: Deliver focused 1:1 nursing care to a student, addressing daily medical needs, including medication administration, monitoring, and support
Collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and families to implement and adjust individualized care plans
Respond promptly and efficiently to medical emergencies or health-related incidents
Maintain accurate, up-to-date health records compliant with privacy standards
Foster a positive and safe environment, encouraging the student's participation and engagement in school activities
Provide education and health guidance to promote the student's overall wellness
