Job description
Passionate about supporting student well-being and fostering positive school environments? This contract opportunity is ideal for a dual-licensed social worker with experience serving K-12 students. Located near Cannon Falls, MN, you'll collaborate with educators, students, and families to build strong support systems throughout the school community.
This position runs from February 17, 2027, through June 3, 2027, offering a dynamic setting to make an impact from the end of winter through the academic year's conclusion. Compensation ranges from $45 to $53 per hour, and eligible professionals may access healthcare benefits, housing, and meal/incidentals support. Key Qualifications and Experience:
Valid dual licensure as a social worker and a school social worker (Minnesota-required)
Previous experience in a school, educational, or youth-focused setting preferred
Skilled in group facilitation and individual counseling
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and staff
Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and student-centered support
Core Duties and Responsibilities: Facilitate group sessions and provide targeted interventions
Meet individually with students and their families to address needs and support success
Participate in school meetings and contribute to ongoing initiatives aiding students and families
Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to build inclusive support networks across grade levels (K-12)
Advocate for student welfare and contribute proactively to the overall school climate
