Job description
A rewarding opportunity awaits for an experienced and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist interested in working in an elementary school setting. This full-time contract position begins in April and continues through May 28, 2027, serving young learners in a supportive educational environment. Engage with elementary-aged students, making a tangible difference in their communication skills and overall academic experience.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active SLP licensure (CCC-SLP or CFY candidates welcome)
Previous school-based experience preferred
Familiarity with IEP processes and case management
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and families
Passion for fostering student growth in a diverse classroom setting
Key Responsibilities: Provide speech and language therapy to elementary students
Evaluate, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans
Document progress and maintain accurate, up-to-date records in compliance with school guidelines
Participate in IEP meetings and offer recommendations to educational staff and parents
Collaborate with teachers, aides, and other specialists to ensure student success
Create engaging and age-appropriate therapeutic activities
Support a positive learning environment while managing a caseload of approximately 37.5 hours per week
