Job description
A fulfilling contract opportunity awaits Speech-Language Pathology Assistants with a passion for supporting students across multiple grade levels. This full-time role is located near Anaheim, CA, and provides a consistent weekly schedule, offering valued stability. As an integral part of the educational team, you'll collaborate with professionals and help students in grades K-12 achieve their communication goals.
Key Qualifications:
Valid California SLPA license
Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but open to new graduates with strong clinical backgrounds
Ability to effectively engage and support K-12 students with diverse needs
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Flexibility and willingness to work across multiple grade levels
Your Responsibilities: Assist in delivering speech-language services as outlined by supervising SLPs
Collaborate with educators and staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Track student progress and document session data accurately
Support a positive and inclusive environment for students of all backgrounds and abilities
Contribute to team meetings and ongoing program development
