Job description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). This full-time role involves working across two vibrant elementary campuses, providing services to diverse student populations-34 students at Voss Farms and 38 at Lamar. The elementary school hours are 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, offering structure as you make a direct impact each day.

Key Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
Hold a current SLPA license/certification in the state of Texas
Previous experience in a school-based SLPA role preferred
Strong rapport-building skills with elementary-aged children
Comfort with documentation platforms and digital tools
Knowledge of IEP processes and SHARS documentation a plus
Primary Responsibilities: Provide direct speech-language services to assigned elementary students under SLP supervision
Collaborate with SLPs, teachers, and staff to support student communication goals
Utilize the SLP Toolkit for documentation, including session notes and SHARS entries
Record service minutes on the district's IEP minute-tracking platform
Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP discussions as needed
