Job description

Key Qualifications:
Current licensure or eligibility for SLPA certification in Virginia
Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field
Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
Strong collaboration skills and ability to follow treatment plans developed by Speech-Language Pathologists
Excellent interpersonal abilities with students, families, and staff
Commitment to confidentiality and professional ethics
Primary Responsibilities: Provide direct speech-language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
Assist with the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Record and document student progress following school policies and state guidelines
Adapt instructional materials as needed to support communication goals
Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development
Support the SLP in administrative and organizational tasks
