Job description
Make a difference by supporting students' communication and language development as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist serving schools near Austin, TX. This is an excellent opportunity to work collaboratively with educational teams and help young learners achieve their highest potential in a rewarding setting.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Active Texas SLP license or eligibility for licensure
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but CFs are welcome to apply
Previous experience working with children in educational settings is highly valued
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and collaborate effectively with teachers and families
Responsibilities: Conduct assessments and screenings for students identified with speech, language, or communication needs
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEPs
Provide direct therapy services to students (individually and in groups)
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including evaluation reports and progress notes
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team activities
Serve as a resource for staff and families regarding communication disorders and strategies for support
