Job description
Step into a rewarding opportunity serving young children as a Speech-Language Pathologist, focusing on infant and toddler caseloads in a school-based setting. The assignment begins as soon as possible and runs through July 2027, providing stability and the chance to build lasting relationships with students and families.
As part of a supportive district office environment, you'll collaborate with other professionals while enjoying a part-time schedule of two to three days per week. Qualifications for this role include:
Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Maryland (MD SLP License)
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
Experience working in school settings, particularly with infants and toddlers, is highly valued
Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Key responsibilities include: Conducting speech and language assessments for infants and toddlers, developing individualized intervention plans
Delivering direct and consultative therapy services
Collaborating with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to student growth
Maintaining accurate documentation in accordance with district and legal requirements
Participating in program improvement meetings and professional development as needed
