Job description
Step into a rewarding role supporting high school students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant educational environment near Cibolo, TX. This contract opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful difference, with both a full-time and a part-time (24 hours/week) position available-both are on-site and focused on high school caseloads.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in Texas
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or clinical fellow (CFY) status welcomed
Experience working with high school students or within a school setting preferred
Strong knowledge of IEP development, speech/language evaluations, and intervention plans
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Compassionate approach to supporting diverse student populations
Primary Responsibilities: Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to high school students with communication disorders
Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
Administer comprehensive speech and language assessments
Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with relevant standards
Offer consultation and training for school staff on speech/language concerns as needed
Participate actively in meetings, team collaborations, and continuing education activities
