Job description
Make a meaningful impact by supporting students' communication development in an educational setting. This contract opportunity is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) who enjoys collaborating with educators and families to help students achieve their best.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
Valid SLP license for the state of Ohio, with CCC credential required
Previous school-based experience preferred, but all passionate candidates will be considered
Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with IEP process, documentation, and progress reporting
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments for students with varying needs
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educational staff and families
Facilitate small group and one-on-one therapy sessions in a supportive school environment
Track student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and contribute to IEP meetings
Consult with teachers to integrate communication goals into the classroom
Educate families on strategies for at-home support
