Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Current state licensure as an SLP or eligibility for licensure
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though clinical fellows may be considered
Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings is advantageous
Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Primary Responsibilities: Evaluate students to determine their speech and language needs using standardized assessments and observation
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
Provide direct intervention to students, both individually and in groups
Document students' progress and maintain accurate records following school and district guidelines
Participate in meetings with IEP teams, teachers, and families to share insight and track student achievement
Engage in ongoing professional development to ensure best practices in speech-language therapy
