Job description
Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by helping them find their voices as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist. This rewarding contract role offers a full-time position for the entire school year, allowing you to provide essential speech and language services to school-aged learners. Your expertise will support students' communication skills, foster their academic growth, and contribute to a positive and inclusive educational environment.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Valid Michigan SLP license or eligibility for licensure
ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship eligibility preferred
Experience in school or pediatric settings is a plus
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Passion for working with children and supporting diverse needs
Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy to students
Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify needs and measure progress
Develop and implement IEPs, maintain documentation, and track outcomes
Work closely with teachers, families, and other professionals to ensure holistic support
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary problem-solving
Provide education and strategies for generalization of skills in and beyond the classroom
